With an expansive and successful track record, Michael J. Lucia has been providing comprehensive financial management services to investors and business owners since 1992. Michael believes that his success—as well as the clients’ success—is built on quality relationships. His business beliefs center around establishing and maintaining these client relationships, and offering meaningful and sound investment advice. According to Mr. Lucia, “without a quality relationship, investment advice and strategies are a dime a dozen.”
Mr. Lucia’s client-centric practice is all about understanding an investor’s challenges—personal, professional and financial. He believes that by understanding these various challenges, he makes better investment decisions for clients and avoids unsuitable financial products or vehicles that may not be appropriate for their goals or risk tolerance.

Richard E. Olson, CFP®
I have been practicing in the financial services industry since 2005 and have served clients throughout Southern California for over 20 years. I am a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, an Investment Adviser Representative, and a licensed independent insurance agent. I hold Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Washington University in 1980.
Before entering the financial services industry, I spent many years in the hospitality and event production industries. I served as an executive with Hyatt Hotels during the 1980s and 1990s, including as Director of Sales in Washington, D.C. After leaving Hyatt in 1994, I went on to help produce major events, including the Nike World Masters Games in Portland, Oregon, and Harley-Davidson’s 95th Anniversary Reunion in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In 2006, I founded Veterans Advocacy Associates, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and served as its President until 2018. Through this work, I helped wartime veterans pursue benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs to assist with medical expenses. To date, the organization has helped originate over $100 million in benefits for veterans in the local community.
I am an inaugural and active member of APEG, the Advanced Planning and Educational Group, and I am also an active member and past president of the Rotary Club of Old Town Temecula.
Over the years, I have been honored for community service by the California State Legislature, the California State Senate, the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge, the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary District leadership.

Cassandra Magdaleno
As an Account Administrator at Michael J. Lucia & Associates, I support clients with administrative account servicing, paperwork, processing administrative requests, and coordinating service items for retirement and investment accounts. My role is focused on helping ensure client information, forms, and account service requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and with care.
I strive to build strong relationships with clients and help them feel supported and comfortable throughout the service process.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and cat, traveling, reading, and prioritizing my health and fitness.
